Small Group Intervention Teacher
Full-time | Staunton/Harrisonburg, VA
Catapult Learning is a provider of K−12 contracted instructional services to public and private schools throughout the US, specializing in at-risk youth and students who are struggling; we are a company with over 40 years of excellence in education.
Catapult Learning is looking for qualified and experienced Full-time Reading and/or Math Interventionists in the Staunton/Harrisonburg, VA area!
The Company will also provide a $750.00 signing bonus to be paid after 120 days of employment, less applicable taxes and deductions.
How you’ll be there for students:
Be their advocate, difference maker, and mentor.
- Instruct Reading and/or Math to small groups in a face-to-face school setting
- Attend training sessions and deliver designated instructional models and strategies in readiness, reading, mathematics, and/or writing skills to eligible students through utilization of company-designed materials and educational strategies.
- Maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans provided for you by Catapult Learning or support students with the school's curricula.
- Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by company, local, state, and federal agencies.
- Maintain consistent communication with company supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.
- Other duties may be assigned

What we’ll need from you:
The positive, enthusiastic teacher we seek has these qualifications.
- Active VA Teaching Certificate preferred
- SPED license or experience preferred
- Working knowledge of MS Office and virtual meeting programs (Zoom, Teams, etc.)
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards students, administration, parents, and other internal and external customers
