Teacher Aide

Full-time position, Monday-Friday, long term sustainable wage with room for growth within our childcare company! We are looking for applicants with experience working with children ages 6 weeks-12 years old in any capacity (i.e., licensed childcare facility, in home facility, raising own children, nannying, babysitting, etc.).

Duties include, but are not limited to, directly working with, and communicating with the teacher in the classroom to implement classroom curriculum, teach activities with gentle instruction daily, feeding and diapering children, potty training children, cleaning classrooms (i.e., sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, laundry, dishes, and other center cleaning responsibilities,) and keeping a safe environment for all children in care. This applicant must reflect a nurturing, loving/caring attitude towards children & families, reflect an attitude that promotes motivation, initiative and enthusiasm for the children and other staff members. This applicant will also care for and teach students of various backgrounds and various developmental needs and must be willing to work with children in all age groups 6 weeks-12 years old. Must be able to stand for long periods of time (at least 75% of shift); able to lift 40+lbs; and able to kneel & climb.

~Graduated High School or GED

~At least 18 years old

~Previous experience with children desired
