Form of workMetro Prep High School, Grade School and Laureate Day School have been educating and supporting students with special needs for over 25 years supported by FGC. Using a multidisciplinary approach, Metro Prep and Laureate Day School provides educational and therapeutic learning opportunities in a small, nurturing environment. This allows our staff to tailor each student's program to meet his or her individual needs.
Metro Prep Grade School serves students kindergarten - eighth grade.
Essential Duties:
- To assist teacher when implementing individual, small group and large group lessons
- To assist students both academically and socially
- To assist teacher in maintaining classroom and school rules
- To participate in weekly planning
- To assist staff in crisis intervention and physical management
Regular School Year Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00a - 3:30p)

Pay Rate: $41,600

Education and/or Experience: 30 semester hours college credit, pass paraprofessional exam or graduated from a paraprofessional program
