Tax Return Preparer

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and complete accurate Tax Returns for individuals and businesses
- Review financial records, such as income statements and balance sheets, to ensure accuracy
- Utilize tax software, such as QuickBooks, to input and calculate tax information
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering client questions and addressing concerns
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial documents and information
- Identify potential tax deductions and credits for clients to maximize their refunds or minimize their tax liabilities
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions

Skills:

-Experience with Ultra Tax a must.
- Proficient in using tax software, such as QuickBooks, to accurately prepare Tax Returns
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail for accurate calculations
- Familiarity with financial concepts related to taxes, such as deductions, credits, and exemptions
- Ability to use 10-key typing for efficient data entry
- Experience working as a clerk or in an accounting role is preferred
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs
- Knowledge of corporate accounting is a plus

Pay: $35.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
