Tax Professional

Tax office serving 1,500 clients needs professionals for the coming season.
We have openings for one full-time professional and/or two part-time professionals.
Work could be year around or seasonal. Full-time professional must have tax preparation experience. Enrolled agent preferred.
We offer training opportunities for part-time employees who want to become Tax Professionals. Applicants must meet or be prepared to meet Iowa requirements for tax preparers. Professionals are expected to interview clients, prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses, process returns, comply with IRS regulations, assist clients with tax planning and assist others in the office as needed.
Duties could include some bookkeeping for clients and receptionist work. During the off season, professionals must be willing to complete at least 16 hours of continuing education each year. Hours for full-time employees can be flexible after the tax season. Hours for part-time workers can be negotiated. Start dates also can be negotiated. Compensation depends upon experience.

Salary: $17.00 - 35.00 hourly
