Job Description
Responsibilities:
- · Assist Partners and professionals with regards to tax document processing, assembling, filing, scanning, copying, and uploading to the portal.
- · Assist with management of workflow as it relates to extensions, returns and other tasks.
- · Arrange for courier and overnight services.
- · Coordinate process for year-end delivery of organizers and engagement letters.
- · Assist with answering the phone.
- · Assist with the preparation of form 1099.
- · Assist with oversight of temporary staff during peak periods.
- · Continually updating client information in our time and billing system.
- · Assist with billing as needed.
- · Assist in maintaining appointments.
- · Assist in other administration duties as needed.
Qualifications:
· 2+ years Administrative assistant experience in a professional service firm, experience working in a CPA firm a big plus.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.
· Well-developed interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
· Experience with formation and editing documents, business writing and proofreading.
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
