Position Overview

The Tax Preparer is responsible for the efficient, accurate, complete, and timely preparation of all assigned clients' tax returns. Advanced technical skills in a variety of tax and accounting areas enable preparers to work on more complex returns.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform technical tax review and preparation of tax returns for individuals and businesses accurately and efficiently
• Participate in client meetings and tax planning efforts
• Assume client service responsibility for assigned clients

Qualifications and Skills

• Preferred: 3+ years of individual tax return preparation; experience in preparing Corporate, Estate, and Trust returns; and recent public accounting tax experience
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service and PC skills
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex tasks, clients, and projects
• Ability to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent attention to detail

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week

License/Certification:
