Sustained support for equitable Tax Policy paired with targeted investments can help strengthen families in the short run and build a stronger state economy down the road, and this position focuses on understanding and promoting policy solutions that help families gain financial security.
The Tax Policy Advisor supports the organization's advocacy for children and families on a range of issues, including income, sales, and property taxes; tax credits; and other related programs. Their experience in child well-being includes several subjects, including race equity in Tax Policy, children's savings accounts, and the Earned Income Tax Credit.
