Tax Manager Position:
We are offering a competitive salary ranging from $125,000 to $170,000 for the position of Tax Manager. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, showcasing technical proficiency in understanding complex taxation issues and implications. A deep knowledge of federal and state tax laws, with the ability to prepare intricate tax returns, is essential. Experience in working with middle-market manufacturing and distribution companies is preferred, along with expertise in multi-state and estate planning. A CPA license is required, and strong client services and communication skills are a must. The successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to direct, review, supervise, and train department staff. Furthermore, they should be adept at making independent decisions on various client issues and concerns.
Senior Tax Manager/Principal Position:
For the Senior Tax Manager/Principal role, we seek an active CPA with a desire to progress to a tax partner. The candidate should have a solid background, encompassing at least 8-10+ years of Public Accounting experience and 5-7+ years of Tax Management experience. A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field is required. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical review experience and a proven track record of successfully defending clients in IRS audits. Additionally, a history of cultivating relationships within a firm and with clients/prospects is crucial for this role.
