Position: Tax Manager
Location: 100% Remote.
Duration: Full time & Direct Hire
About the job:
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships and trusts
- Research tax questions and stay current of regulation changes
- Communicate with clients regarding their accounting and tax needs
- Develop, build and maintain strong client relationships
- Respond to inquiries from the IRS, state, and other tax authorities
- Assist in developing, mentoring and motivating professional staff and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews
- Grow the firm
Qualifications:
- 5+ years tax return experience in Public Accounting
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, and/or a related field
- CPA
- Previous experience working directly with clients, preparing and reviewing tax returns
- Positive attitude with demonstrated ability to work as team member
- QuickBooks, Drake Tax experience preferred
- Payroll experience preferred
