Tax Manager - Private Client Group

OverviewWe are currently seeking a Tax Manager in either our Woburn or Boston Offices to join our Private Client Group which provides Estate Planning Services and Tax Compliance Services. Essential DutiesProvide high level individual, trust, estate, gift and foundation tax compliance services as well as estate planning advisory servicesReview individual, trust, estate, gift and foundation returnsReview estate and trust fiduciary accountingsHandle Federal and State tax notices and auditsResearch Federal, State and International tax laws, prepare tax memorandums on technical topics, and develop tax savings strategiesManage all aspects of client accounts and foster client relationshipsReview and analyze estate planning related legal documentsBusiness development including networking, public speaking and authoring Trust and Estate related articlesManage other members of the group including monitoring their workload and training and assisting themStay current on new tax legislationQualificationsBA/BS degree in Accounting from an accredited college/university required; Master's in Taxation preferredActive CPA or EA licensed required6+ year's progressive experience in public accounting requiredExtensive experience in Tax Advisory and Estate/Trust planning and complianceAbility to establish and maintain good client relationshipsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications requiredExperience with reviewing fiduciary, gift and estate tax returnsPreferred experience with Axcess Tax, CCH ProSystem fx Engagement and BNAExperience with research software and memo writing requiredMust be able to work additional hours as needed to meet client deliverablesPKFODA is an equal opportunity employer.
