Form of workWe are a small and growing CPA firm with offices in Benicia, Suisun City and Walnut Creek looking for the right candidate to join our team. We have an immediate opening for Tax Manager position who will provide exceptional service to our clients. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, flexibility and the ability to multi-task. We are looking for experienced and motivated people with a strong work ethic to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tax return preparation and review of individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary and tax-exempt organizations.
- Tax research and analysis of complex issues.
- Manage the tax return process from start to finish, in a high quality and timely fashion.
- Provide high-quality tax planning and consulting services to clients.
- Lead, motivate and mentor entry-level staff.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Current CPA License.
- 5+ years recent tax experience at a public accounting firm.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Lacerte.
