SalaryOur portfolio of high-growth tax and accounting companies is at a stage to bring on a highly experienced Tax Manager to assist the CEO directly in all client-facing and client-related tax and accounting matters to ensure we continue using the highly efficient (and unheard-of) process we have built that is second to none when it comes to speed, efficiency, and delivering the ultimate client experience.
The ideal candidate will be a friendly and personable individual responsible for overseeing all tax-related activities in the organization, meeting or speaking with clients as needed, managing a team of tax preparers and admin staff, and having a strong working knowledge of all software involved, including Lacerte Tax and QBO.
There is room for a qualified Tax Manager to either bring on (or newly hire with the CEO) one additional senior tax associate to help with the upcoming 2024 tax season.

Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000 yearly (total comp with annual bonus)

Responsibilities:- Analyze and interpret tax laws, regulations and rulings to determine appropriate action
- Develop strategies to minimize clients' taxes
- Prepare and review tax returns
- Lead tax audits with federal and state agencies
- Maintain current knowledge of tax laws and updates
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Hold either a CPA or EA license
- Expert knowledge in using Lacerte software
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in tax preparation
- Possess excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
- Have strong working knowledge of Quickbooks Online (QBO)
- Master's degree in taxation preferred
