We are open to this position being in any of the following markets: Buffalo, NY; Cleveland, Akron or Youngstown, OH; Pittsburgh, PA; Detroit or St. Clair Shores, MI
- Prepare tax returns and prepare materials and research for consulting projects related to tax planning opportunities
- Work with an engagement team and draw on your experience to provide tax compliance and consulting services to a variety of clients in different industries
- Communicate with clients to gather information to complete tax returns
- Operate in adynamic environment, coach interns and entry-level staff,and share your knowledge and experience with the entire team
- CPA or qualifications completed to pursue CPA
- 1+ years of progressive experience at a public accounting firmpreferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong external and internal communication required, due to client facing role and importance of strong partnership with internal engagement teams
- Understanding of Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe, etc. required
- Strong understanding of CCH Axcess required
- Initiative to learn, ask questions, operate in a fast-paced environment, challenge the status quo
- Develop strong relationships internally, and flexibility are required and keys to success
- Experience preparing returns for partnership, s-corp, individual, or corporation returns anddemonstratean understanding of increasingly complex tax concepts
Estimated Salary Range: $55,000-85,000*
*Salaries offered to candidates are determined based on factors such as candidate's relevant skillset, experience, licensure, and certifications, as well as job responsibilities, geography, market considerations, and organizational needs.
