Tax & Benefits Transactional Tax Associate

A National Law Firm Tax & Benefits practice group seeks a junior to mid-level associate to join its New York or Philadelphia office. Candidate should have solid Transactional Tax experience with exposure to international issues. Position will include significant work in the private equity industry and the fund world. Candidates should have strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ideal candidates will have, or currently be in the process of earning, an LL.M. in taxation. Law firm experience is preferred but large accounting firm experience will also be considered. If available, include LL.M. transcript as part of your materials.
The Tax Practice focuses on business taxation – employee benefits and trust and estate matters are handled in separate subgroups within the Tax & Benefits practice group. The position will have firm-wide interaction and responsibilities as well as client contact. The Tax & Benefits group and the Firm support the growth and development of its members by supporting involvement in professional organizations and speaking and writing opportunities.
