Tax Auditor Supervisor
The incumbent in this position is responsible for ensuring the proper audit, computation, and collection of retail marijuana taxes, as well as gross receipt taxes and income and withholding taxes for marijuana related businesses. The incumbent will develop audit procedures using Department of Revenue's (DORs) tax administration system and the Office of the Marijuana Commissioner's Seed-to-Sale database. The incumbent will supervise Tax Auditors as they perform audits of taxpayers accounting records such as invoices, sales journals, general ledgers, bank statements, and inventory entries to determine compliance with tax laws, rules, and regulations; assesses liabilities and explains assessments to taxpayers.
Wages: $61,258.00 Yearly Min / $76,573.00 Yearly Mid
