WHO are we looking for?
CAPTRUST is seeking a Tax Associate who will provide administrative, tax compliance, and fiduciary support. The Tax Associate's primary responsibility is to coordinate and participate in client services within a team concept.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates tax services for clients as part of a team model
- Analyzes and resolves basic client issues using sound judgment based on experience
- Updates client files and records as appropriate
- Prepares quarterly and annual income tax reports and provisions
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Tax/Accounting from an accredited university or equivalent years of working experience
- CPA career path preferred
- 1-3 years current public accounting experience including individual and trust taxation
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local income tax laws
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM and tax preparation, and research software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate highest personal ethics, integrity, and confidentiality
