Position Summary: As a part-time Tax Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our tax services team. This remote position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals in a growing firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.
- Assist in tax planning and research for various clients.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal tax regulations.
- Collaborate with team members on tax projects and initiatives.
- Provide exceptional client service, including responding to client inquiries and requests.
- Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to provide accurate advice and solutions.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- EA or CPA required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in tax preparation and accounting.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work.
