Tasting Room Associate

Company Overview:

Small Batch Cellars is gearing up for an exciting summer season and is seeking dynamic individuals to join our Tasting Room and Events Crew. We are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service while educating our guests about our exquisite wines in a vibrant and welcoming environment.

Job Description:

As a member of our Tasting Room and Events Crew, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding experience to our guests. Responsibilities include:

· Engaging with guests and providing knowledgeable information about our cellar processes, and wines.

· Demonstrating enthusiasm and passion for our products while ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued.

· Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest service during Tasting Room visits and winery events.

· Participating in stocking and inventory management, including occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.

· Maintaining a friendly and efficient atmosphere, even during busy periods, and adapting to changing needs and priorities.

· Ability to work on weekends Friday and Saturday during high season, with potential shifts on Thursdays or Sundays for concerts or events.

· Availability from May through October, including weekends, to meet the demands of our high season.

Qualifications:

· Must be 21 years or older.

· Prior wine knowledge and hospitality experience in restaurants, bars, or catering REQUIRED.

· Ability to communicate confidently in public settings and remain composed under pressure.

· Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

· Capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to various roles as needed.

· Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
