Taproom Employee

Buffalo Creek Brewing in Long Grove, IL is looking for one Taproom Employee to join our 15 person strong team. We are located on 360 Historical Lane. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged.

BCB is a production brewery with a great Taproom (Bar Area), private event space and huge beer garden. Our total capacity on a very busy day can reach up to about 750 total guests! We are looking for our next server/bartender to help keep our customers happy, informed and coming back. BCB pays all of our part-time employees on a tip wage and all tips are pooled and the average hourly wage, after tips, right now is about $22.00 per/hour. BCB only serves the beers we produce at the brewery, there is no kitchen but guests can bring in their own food or order in and our business hours are pack with offerings and events for guests everywhere to come and enjoy. There is rarely a slow day around here.

Responsibilities

*Take and prepare guests orders *Cleaning the building a property *Stocking and restocking items *Minor deep cleaning duties *Guest interaction and education on our beer styles *Cash handling *Seasonally based duties (summer time gives us more outside duties and winter time gives us shoveling, etc.)

Qualifications

*IL BASSET (which can also be obtained post being hired) *Must be +21 years of age *Must be able to work nights and weekends, not all night nor all weekend shifts, but the availability must be there.
