Tapping Machine Operator

Established ISO 9001:2015 certified supplier of washers and stampings is

seeking a Tapping Machine Operator. Candidate for this position must have the

ability to operate Tapping Machines in the Tapping Department in a safe and

efficient manner producing parts to customer specifications.

Qualifications:

• Requires basic math skills.
• Requires English comprehension skills.
• Requires good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use hand tools and perform tap changes and machine adjustments if required.

Preferred:

• Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a tapping and or stamping environment.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must inspect product using thread gauges and maintain machine coolant systems while operating multiple Tapping Machines.
• Must use trouble shooting skills and have the ability to make adjustments on tapping

machines during production to maintain quality of product and machine operation.

• Ensure quality by visual inspection, checking for any non conforming product and taking corrective action if needed.
• Other duties may be detailed in work instructions or assigned.

Our scheduled working hours are 6 a.m. To 4:30 p.m., Mon-Thurs. Extended hours are worked on Friday when required. Hourly position. First shift. The company pays a competitive wage ($16.00-18.00 pr hr ) based on experience and knowledge.
