Position Summary

The Foreman (Service) position provides supervision and coordinates work activities. 

Principle Responsibilities/Accountabilities
  • Supervises daily activities of contractors and inspects work and projects regularly.
  • Assists in assembling and configuring projects such as (Rig ups, Rig downs) and scheduling in and out of the field.
  • Implements and administers company policies and procedures as delegated by management.
  • Ensures plans and performance of various functions within the organization meet and exceed the management expectations.
  •  Reports all safety related incidents within area or responsibilities and participates in incident investigation as assigned.
  • Communicates with construction contractors regarding issues including safety performances, project scheduling.
  • Responsible for preparing and maintaining project and material records.
  • Pre-inspects, operates, and respects company equipment and tools.
  • Monitors inventory and location of equipment.
  • Operates small hand tools and provides other construction type labor in projects.
  • Assists in construction, repair, and replacement of frac tanks, pumps, and other equipment.
  • Maintains customer/vendor relationships while establishing good working relationships.
  • Prepares necessary supplies, tools and other equipment for transport to worksite.
  • Operates vehicles, mechanical devices, and equipment on and off the worksite.
  • Handles pipe, pipe fittings, hoses and small tools. 
  • Performs other duties as required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience as a working supervisor 
  • Working knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work successfully with a wide variety of people at different levels within the organization.
  • Detail orientated with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively supervise 2 or more employees on a crew.
  • Ability to work various schedules including nights/weekends and local/regional travel.

 

 

Specific Educational / Vocational Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Combination of education, experience and training may be substituted for these requirements.

 

  • Licensure And Certification
  • Valid Driver’s License.
EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee frequently is required to stand, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is required to walk, stoop, or kneel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
