Tandem Dump Truck Driver

Front Range Excavating, Inc. is currently seeking a skilled and dependable Tandem Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating Tandem Dump Trucks to transport materials to and from various locations. As a Tandem Dump Truck Driver with Front Range Excavating, Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring our success.
Requirements
Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Tandem Dump Trucks in compliance with all relevant traffic laws and company regulations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure optimal functioning, promptly reporting any issues to the maintenance team.
• Transport materials to and from job sites and vendors using Tandem Dump Trucks.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper weight distribution and adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with company personnel and customers to determine appropriate drop-off and pick-up locations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups, utilizing smartphone applications for weight tickets, time logs, and required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to coordinate schedules, ensuring efficient operations.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment and proper handling of materials.
• Perform routine maintenance on Tandem Dump Trucks, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and ensuring overall vehicle cleanliness.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Front Range Excavating, Inc. in a professional manner at all times.

Requirements:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a Tandem Dump Truck Driver or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate Tandem Dump Trucks, including familiarity with hydraulic systems and dump bed controls.
• Understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to material transportation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects as required during loading and unloading.
• Flexibility to work varying hours and weekends as needed.
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
