This is a superb opportunity for a People/Talent Professional with opportunities to gain hands on experience and familiarity with NEW evolved leading People Systems, programs, project management and People Strategy. The Talent Support Coordinator will provide Talent Administrative support in overarching Sector People Matter Strategies in concert with Compass Shared Services Model. Coordinates with VP of Operations the day-to-day activity. Responsible for the administrative and clerical functions of People Services performing tasks such as employee-related issues including but not limited to: Assisting with hiring, onboarding, and training, and handling employee information documents.
Essential function, duties & responsibilities:
- Develop & lead day to day People tactical support, programs and compliance where necessary- which may include and not inclusive of: People Hub inquiries and maintenance, hourly recruitment & job fairs, new hire welcome meetings, orientation, training programs/guides, Compass HR Service Center inquiries, training such as CHAT, employee engagement survey, reporting, that supports legal compliance.
- Distribute and support People communications. Responds to inquires from management, associates, co-workers - directs or handles as needed. Explains HR polices, procedures, practices, and programs. Keeps R/A Corporate People Services Team up-to-date of all pertinent related matters as appropriate. Attends Catering events and assists teams on site as needed. May assist in other duties as needed and required.
Requirements:
- Administrative support background.
- Understanding of crucial HR functions and standard methodologies.
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.
- Experience with key HR tools and software.
- Must deal effectivity with diverse individuals in the R/A & Compass organizations as various levels.
- Has good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
- Ability to remain confidential in company data and only communicate to those who need to know.
- Strong organizational, problem solving, analytical skills, understands how to move projects along for success.
- Validated customer service and hospitality skills with ability to maintain composure at all times.
- Maintains dedication to excellence and high standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years' experience in HR. SPHR/HR certifications and professional involvement with SHRM is helpful.
- Ability to: read, analyze, & interpret common technical journals, financials and HR reports and legal documents.
- write presentations, articulate and present (example, Lead New hire orientation)
- work with in reasonable mathematical concepts that allow for HR data flow and interpretations.
- operate computer and MS applications – has Previous HR Software experience. (SAP preferred) • define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw appropriate conclusions that are fact based.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
