Deloitte's Talent Marketing & Communications team is seeking a communications professional who sees the world differently, finds opportunity where others don't, and keeps a pulse on the next big trends. We bring together creative skills, analytics and insights, and industry best practices to excite, inform, and engage our people, and attract new talent.
Location: Flexible (remote)
As a Talent Communications Lead Specialist, you will:
  • Work with your Talent Marketing & Communications colleagues and key stakeholders to drive and position campaigns and projects internally and externally using relevant internal channels, Deloitte.com pages, media outlets, and social channels.
  • Write human-centered, creative copy that weaves in our talent narrative, resonates with our people, and captures their attention.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing strategic communications counsel and developing integrated communications plans from strategy to execution.
  • Measure and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of internal and external campaigns and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Help drive eminence and social media strategy.
  • Manage our team's editorial calendar and provide additional operational support, as needed.
  • Provide communications project surge support in areas across the Talent business, as needed.
  • Be a self-starter who demonstrates creative and critical thinking skills and the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Measure and evaluate the impact of internal and external comms activities using analytical and data-driven information.
  • Create and edit stories for multiple audiences.
  • Provide an inclusive mindset and eagerness to learn, ask questions, teach others, and actively participate in team calls, culture-building, and brainstorming sessions.

Qualifications
  • 6+ years of related experience in communications or public relations, with a focus on strategy, planning, and driving measurable results.
  • Demonstrate the ability of creating and editing stories.
  • Experience in using social channels to amplify eminence and brand.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, English, marketing, or related business field.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization, large corporate setting, and/or professional services.
  • Experience interacting and communicating across a variety of stakeholder groups (subject matter experts to business owners) in a hybrid or virtual setting.
  • Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills, with experience in building consensus and driving collaboration by building positive relationships and using data.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and review/approval processes while meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • PR and media relations experience, including working with agencies.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Photoshop skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft O365 (including Microsoft Teams).

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,400-$148,000.
