Collinwood is seeking a dedicated Talent Management Specialist to join the team of our manufacturing client and contribute to the development and retention of top talent located in the Itasca,IL area.
Summary:
The Talent Management Specialist will be responsible for managing critical aspects of the employee lifecycle through onboarding activities, Talent Management administration, learning management administration and other tasks as assigned. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Talent and Employee Development and is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office.
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Administer and ensure the integrity of Talent Management systems (Saba)
  • Establish and manage processes for performance reviews across the organization.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers during performance review cycles.
  • Assist the global HR team in conducting talent assessments and reviews.
  • Coordinate skills assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage the implementation and progress of Personal Development Plans (PDPs).
  • Offer end-user support and resources to employees using Talent Management platform (Saba).
  • Maintain accurate translations of Talent Management platforms for global accessibility.
  • Generate reports on performance appraisal results, talent assessments, and Talent Management system usage for analysis and decision-making.

Onboarding:
  • Coordinate aspects of the global onboarding strategy.
  • Create engaging and informative onboarding materials for new hires.
  • Solicit feedback from stakeholders and employees to continuously enhance the onboarding experience.

Learning Program Administration:
  • Administer the Learning Management System (Percipio).
  • Plan and coordinate various learning programs to address organizational objectives.
  • Manage logistical aspects of training sessions, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Monitor attendance and participation levels, adjusting as necessary.
  • Customize learning programs to meet the specific needs of different departments.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure training schedules and updates are recorded in the LMS.
  • Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and maintain detailed records.
  • Prepare reports on training program attendance, feedback, and outcomes for management review.

What We Need From You:
  • Bachelor's level degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Expert technical skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook, as well as the aptitude to learn new technologies.
  • Knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be organized, dependable, professional, and confident.
  • Support experience in Talent Management, HR, or related role.
  • Understanding of onboarding, performance management, and employee development.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Experience with Percipio (Skillsoft) or Saba (Cornerstone) is a plus.
