JOB PURPOSE:

We are looking for a Talent Management and Organization Development Coordinator to join our Talent Management and Workforce Strategy team that  focuses on attracting and retaining high-quality employees, developing their skills, and continuously motivating them to perform at their highest potential in the pursuit of achieving the University's mission. This role will  report to the Manager, Learning and Organization Development. The incumbent will manage all logistics associated with the delivery of learning and development programs and initiatives. Manage participant registration, correspondence, evaluation, budgets, and data analysis. We are open to a hybrid work arrangement (a combination of onsite and work from home). The number of days may occasionally fluctuate subject to business need, but the expectation is that this position will be onsite a minimum of 2 days/week. The onsite work location is Stanford Redwood City Campus, 505 Broadway, Redwood City, California but travel to the Stanford Campus, Stanford, California may  be required at times.

As a Talent Management and Organization Development Coordinator, your responsibilities include:

  • Schedule related logistics of training and programs. Negotiate cost and assure quality of materials, supplies, and end-to-end services. Maintain calendars for program managers and senior leadership.
  • Identify vendors and administer the procurement and vendor contracting process. Work with the vendors to coordinate timely completion of contracts, submission of bills, and payment.
  • Manage participant survey process, including tracking responses and running reports for program managers. Run participant use reports and report on trends to the program manager. Report on emerging trends not specifically requested by the program manager as well as reports associated with established metrics. May develop participant survey questionnaires.
  • Draft marketing materials, emails, and other types of correspondence.
  • Run reports associated with established metrics. Report on emerging trends not specifically requested by the program manager(s).
  • Update website content assuring the quality of postings and processes for multiple websites.
  • Provide support and other back-up to other coordinators as necessary.
  • May serve as a presenter to participants on a limited basis.

  • Create, implement, and manage a process for registration.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and at least two years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and web applications.
  • Knowledge of learning and development field.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting to small and large groups in a complex and highly diverse workplace.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to research, extract, analyze, and manipulate data with minimal supervision and communicate results proactively.
  • Superior attention to detail and Organization skills.
  • Ability to multitask, shifting between multiple priorities and tasks with a high degree of accuracy.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

  • Frequently stand/walk, sit, perform desk based computer tasks, use a telephone, and grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
  • Occasionally twist/bend/stoop/squat, reach/work above shoulders, grasp forcefully, writing by hand, sort/file paperwork, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
  • Rarely kneel/crawl, operate foot and/or hand controls.

Travel on campus to schools/units.

The expected pay range for this position is $34.62 - $43.75 per hour. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
