We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Talent Experience Manager to own important programs throughout the Team Member Lifecycle. People are our organizations #1 unique (People, Innovation, Experience) and the People Team is an integral part of changing our industry. The Talent Experience Manager will report to the Senior Director of People Operations, work closely with the VP of People and play a key role in creating an impactful candidate and stellar Team Member Experience through established and innovative People programs as we grow.

Your Impact:


Partner with hiring leaders to attract top talent and bring them into the organization through an exceptional candidate experience

  • Create consistent, easy to understand and thoughtful Impact Descriptions (what we call Job Descriptions) to ensure we understand the roles’ impact and who the best candidates are
  • Source potential candidates for open positions and manage the interview process, including pre-screen interviews and feedback sessions
  • Consider the candidates skills, experience, behaviors and culture contributions from creation of the Impact Description through onboarding
  • Handle full recruitment life cycle for internal positions, including administration of Predictive Index and Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

Oversee, iterate and create impactful and scalable Onboarding and Offboarding experiences

  • Manage full Team Member onboarding program, including coordination with IT, creation of onboarding guides, coordination with leaders to schedule onboarding meetings and provide the MAB experience to each new hire
  • Work with hiring leaders to ensure role expectations are set, meetings are scheduled according to departmental demands, touch points prior to and following start date are followed to ensure great relationship building throughout the organization
  • Manage offboarding programs including surveys, scheduling exit interviews, partnering IT on sensitive access management processes
  • Lead communication strategies, including drafting thoughtful emails and timelines of Team Member entries and exits

Liase between People Technology vendors and the broader team to ensure People tools are providing value and being utilized to accomplish goals

  • Proactively create learning opportunities (trainings, micro-learnings, 1-sheeters, etc.) to ensure Team Member and Leaders understanding people technologies and processes
  • Own front-line support and answer questions around HCM platforms; maintain a pulse on barriers or issues
  • Act as a liason to the People Team leadership to ensure we are getting ahead of concerns and issues around utilization, productivity and change management strategies

Drive productivity, actionable people data and genuine relationships between Team Members and Leaders through our Performance Development Program

  • Proactively project manage programs to keep a pulse of issues, barriers and give leaders information to manage their teams effectively
  • Create reviews and programmatic cycles each quarter; draft simple and easy to understand plans, emails and timelines in advance to ensure smooth program execution

Create a culture of engaged Team Members by lifting each other up through positivity and praise, core values connection, in-person, market-specific and virtual events and activities

  • Create and manage the Experience Event Calendar; manage to budget, provide planning/execution support and ensuring every experience detail is considered
  • Create overall and market-specific experiences through culture driven events, always leading with “the why” and understanding the market-specific audience when partnering with MAB and market leaders to ensure buy-in
  • Facilitate memorable experiences (i.e. Team Member and Hauler appreciation events, holiday party) for Team Members, contractors and partners to create raving fans externally and internally
  • Coordinate inventory ordering and distribution of branded swag with the Marketing team; plan for onboarding and Team Member and Hauler experience events

Convey the importance of Team Member Wellbeing through planning, managing and driving a culture of centralized wellbeing and giveback initiatives

  • Manage MAB Give Back community service program; oversee local community partnerships, schedule group volunteer opportunities and track team volunteering and metrics
  • Create wellbeing focus areas and a strategic calendar around wellbeing; drive proactive and scheduled communication, and use innovative thinking around how to engage the team in events and themes
  • Tie in experience events, holidays and other programs to ensure consistently across themes and culture

Partner with People Leadership and the Administrative Team to steer thoughtful internal corporate communications as we scale and provide transparency to our Team Members

  • Drive our People and Business Strategy and people-focused Team Member lifecycle through strategic and planned touch points across the appropriate communication channels (emails, MS Teams Channels, HCM systems)
  • Participate on the project team for Quarterly town halls (we call them State of the Company); ensure the most important items are covered in a thoughtful way
  • Lead and have support from project team for facilitating bi-weekly town halls (we call them Friday Huddles); work with presenter of the week, People Team and marketing to ensure smooth execution and impactful content
  • Assist with other special projects and tasks as assigned to propel the People team and organization forward

Requirements:
  • Commitment and connection to our company values along with the desire to be a part of a progressive and badass People Team
  • Bilingual in Spanish required
  • A minimum of 4 years experience in human resources / People Ops, with experience managing several programs across the Team Member lifecycle (Onboarding, Engagement, and TA required)
  • Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, management or related degree preferred
  • Understanding of and desire to stay up to date on federal, state and local compliance (DOT compliance a plus, but not required)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Experience working with HRIS/HCM platforms (but more importantly making them work for you) ideally Paylocity, Lattice, MS Teams
  • Incredible verbal and written communication skills to confidently represent a high quality people team and to persuade and grow a culture of transparency and positivity
  • M&A Experience a plus, but not required
  • Experience with Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) a plus, but not required
  • DEIB passion and experience a plus
