Genus Plc has an exciting opportunity. We are seeking a strategic Global Talent Acquisition Manager to oversee the Talent Acquisition function. The role is responsible for leading and developing a team of TA/recruiting professionals and supporting Genus’s business units. The successful candidate takes ownership, is customer focused, results-driven, radiates expertise, collaborates broadly, and is innovative. - Report to the Human Resource Director and sit within the Center of Excellence (COE).
- Develop and lead a high-performing team of Talent Acquisition specialists (TAS) responsible for delivering high-quality services. Work with the team to set team and personal goals, provide training, manage performance, and conduct reviews.
- Support the company’s people strategy by identifying areas for continuous improvement to attract,
and diverse candidate pipelines are presented to hiring leaders.
- Lead the building and implementation of competency-based hiring and support the building of competency and skills in managers and employees representing our brand and helping to assess and
- Act as the ATS subject matter expert and system administrator, identify areas for improvement and
- Establish and maintain all TA reporting, metrics, KPIs for weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual
- Collaborate with the L&D COE to co-lead the creation and implementation of competency-based
- Attend business unit leaders’ meetings and serve as a Talent Acquisition champion / change agent,
- Respond to shifting priorities to meet business needs, advise on best practices related to optimizing TA functionality and effectiveness, and identify win/win solutions.
- Continuously evaluates the most scalable model for service delivery, which may include resources
- Develop, foster, and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and employees.
- Oversee relationships, sourcing and hiring with military and educational institutions.
- Ensure that world-class environmental health and safety work processes and results are in place and
- Uphold the Genus core values, mission, and vision.
- Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours. Performs other projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Qualifications: (required)
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 10 years of human resources experience; additional years of related experience may offset education.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- 5 plus years of Talent Acquisition Manager experience to include:
- Proven leadership in managing and developing a TA team.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering results with matrixed global organization.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to hiring.
- Experience hiring both exempt and non-exempt talent.
- Functional experience as a full life-cycle recruiter / Talent Acquisition specialist.
- Previous experience implementing an applicant tracking system, iCIMS preferred not required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Global recruiting experience to include one or more regions - EMEA, LATAM and ASIAPAC
- Experience experience developing and nurturing an “Employment Brand”.
- Vendor management experience preferred.
- Experience in agriculture, biotechnology, or life sciences preferred
