Sigma is looking for an individual that thrives on exceeding expectations, is highly organized, and is adept in working on multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously. This position is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico and has the option to work remotely. It requires a forward-thinking individual that can work independently and collaboratively to achieve goals. The ideal candidate exercises good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong communication and organizational skills. The candidate demonstrates the ability to adhere to timeliness, flexibility, and adaptability, as well as maintains a professional atmosphere under pressure.
The candidate MUST have experience recruiting in federal contracts, preferably experience in DOD, DOE or NNSA space.

Responsibilities include:
- Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
- Review, screen, and analyze resumes using our Applicant Tracking System and resume databases
- Experienced with sourcing techniques, source from various online channels, and scour job search websites for potential recruits, contacting those candidates personally
- Phone screen and interview potential staff members using industry-standard techniques
- Perform in-person and phone interviews with candidates
- Administer appropriate company assessments
- Make recommendations to company hiring managers
- Coordinate interviews with the hiring managers
- Maintain relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved
- Communicate employer information and benefits during screening process
- Stay current on the company's organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
- Serve as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations
- Design and update job descriptions and job ads
- Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates
- Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Advisor
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
WHAT YOU NEED (Minimum Requirements):
- Bachelors degree minimum of 5 years of Talent Acquisition/recruiting and sourcing experience
- Must have familiarity with federal contracting
- Desired experience recruiting in DOD, DOE or NNSA space.
- Must have demonstrated recruiting experience, preferably hiring and onboarding personnel with security clearances
- Must have experience evaluating resumes against specific technical requirements or strong ability in technical writing
- Knowledge of proposal and contract documents (PWS, etc.) preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Phone, Skype, and online meeting platform skills
- Familiarity with relevant employment Law
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel
- Worked in a small business preferred
- Candidates considered for hire, after receiving an offer, must pass a federal background and federal drug test before beginning their work assignment. Refusal to submit to drug testing or not passing the drug test will result in disqualification of further employment consideration.
