We are seeking a Tableau Developer to join our team and provide support to join our federal client in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the design and development of BI solutions.
- Gather and review BI requirements; design Tableau solutions to address a large BI environment.
- Build Tableau Usage Tracking Dashboard; construct a custom landing page in Tableau.
- Present demos on Tableau Features via Tools & Platform working group to customers.
- Support user questions and tips via the Tableau Developers channel (MS Teams).
- Perform Tableau Server Maintenance. Support enhancements and fixes to existing solutions.
- Configure additional data source connectivity on the Tableau Server based on the user's requests.
Knowledge & Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Tableau Developer; demonstrated experience developing and supporting IT applications.
- Experience with Tableau in developing reports and dashboards/configuring the metadata.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills using MS Visio and PowerPoint.
- Experience working on data warehouse and business intelligence projects.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field of study.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with installation and configuration of Tableau servers.
- Knowledge working in Agile development.
- Experience with operations and maintenance projects in a Tableau environment.
- Experience working with federal government IT systems.
