We are seeking a motivated engineer to develop systems for our underwater business for Sonar applications.What kind of work will you do as a new hire?
- As part of our fast-paced, synergistic teams you will participate in the collaborative process of identifying and capturing MBSE data with engineers and technical subject matter experts.
- You will translate high level technical strategies into system requirement specifications and work with multi-discipline engineering teams to derive lower-level detailed requirements and represent those decisions with respective MBSE diagrams such as Block Definition Diagrams, Internal Block Definition diagrams, Use Case/Sequence Diagrams and Requirements diagrams amongst others.
- Additional tasking would involve generating system level requirements verification procedures utilizing test automation practices to streamline the certification sell-off phase.
Our Systems Engineering teams operate in Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban to plan, manage and execute tasking.
Must have:
- The ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance at the Secret Level.
- GPA 2.5 or Above

Basic Qualifications:
- Candidate with a BS or MS degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Entry level knowledge of systems engineering processes, requirements engineering, CONOPS development, interface design, system integration and verification/test to accommodate End to End Systems Engineering.
- Familiarity with model-based languages such as SysML or UML
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communications skills
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with Model-Based Engineering applications and technologies such as Cameo, MagicDraw or Rhapsody
- Familiarity with Linux, Git, and/or Matlab
- Familiarity with C++, Javascript, Python, or SQL scripting languages
- Familiarity with Jira and/or Redmine project management tools
- OCSMP SysML certification, SysML training course, or coursework involving SysML
