Stellar has an immediate opportunity for a Systems Engineer III to support the Air Force On-Base at Wright-Patterson, AFB in Dayton, OH.
Job Summary:
- Provides IT support to the organization's senior leaders.
- Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains IT products/equipment.
- Trains customers, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders, and replaces parts as needed.
- Develops and applies organization-wide information models for use in designing and building integrated, shared software and database management systems.
- Develops or makes enhancements to existing systems to improve business methods consistent with organization-wide initiatives.
- Includes architectural planning, participation in new technology analysis, test planning and design analysis.
- Analyzes and develops technical documentation detailing the integration and system performance.
Duties:
- Provide computer support for Secure facilities.
- ISSO, Cybersecurity Liaison Installs, troubleshoots, maintains products / equipment.
- Alternate Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for classified areas.
- Alternate COMSEC responsible officer.
- Network Administration including account/data management for individual and groups for multiple secure networks.
- Maintain oversight / manage support of downward directive initiatives through the base ISSM for secure facilities.
- Maintain the organizations COMPUSEC program to meet requirements.
- Assist with requirements for the ISR Web system.
- May be responsible for completion of a phase of a project.
Requirements:
- 5 - 10 years progressive industry experience.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline is highly desired but will accept an A.S. Computer Science degree with additional experience.
- Demonstrated exceptional written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to work independently or under general direction and effectively interact with high-level military & government personnel.
- MUST HAVE ACTIVE TS/SCI OR TS W/SCI ELIGIBILITY SECURITY CLEARANCE.
- MUST have a current / active IAT II (i.e., Security+) or higher certification.
- U.S. Citizenship is Mandatory.
