Overview
Do you want to help IBR build a portfolio of next-generation data collection systems and provide authentication and authorization services to those systems? As a Systems Engineer at IBR, you will contribute on the team that provides authentication and authorization solutions to enterprise web applications supporting %M users or more. You will work as a member of the ICAM development team on ICAM related capabilities design, development, and documentation.
Day to day responsibilities will include design and implementation of authentication and authorization related capabilities including analysis/design/development of ICAM tooling capabilities, ICAM architecture, backend web services, user interfaces, static web content, scripts, test procedures and technical documentation. You will lead release planning and execution or related tasks. You will either have an Okta Professional Certification and Security+ Certification or will be willing to attain them as you will be regularly using features in Okta (and other identity tools) to complete tasking. The ideal candidate will be extremely detail oriented. As part of our successful ICAM team you will work well with other team members and development leadership

Work Environment
Work is performed primarily indoors at a well-lit office environment. The environment is normally air conditioned, but conditions may change dependent upon circumstances. Work may need to be performed in a fast-paced environment requiring quick thinking and rapid judgements. Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of clients in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.

Responsibilities
- Assist in requirements gathering, elicitation, and analysis in order to support concept architectures and system characteristics
- Review and analyze system requirements and identify impacts to the appropriate requirements and/or design specifications.
- Responsible for developing and managing subsystem and component level performance specifications by managing requirements
- Identify integration issues and system requirements discrepancies across multiple systems.
- Write Use Cases from high level concepts/requirements
- Creating software system process flow design/diagrams
- Improves system requirements process by studying current practices; designing and implementing improvements
- Development of static web content
- Design/Prototyping/Implementation of authentication and authorization capabilities within Okta and other ICAM related tools
- Ability to identify and/or perform analysis on ICAM related products and features
- Deploying and configuration ICAM related software products to virtual computing resources
- Okta integration with external directory services
- Usage of Atlassian Tools for day to day tasks within the Scrum process
- Use of Amazon Web Services (AWS) capabilities
- Reacting to change and communicating with others
Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- 4+ years experience as a Software or Systems Engineer
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or IT related field
- Must have experience as a Systems Engineer specifically supporting Systems Engineering tasks such as:
- System design and development of documentation
- Provide expertise in business process modeling and requirements engineering
- Assessing current business processes and requirements
- Experience with eliciting, refining, and decomposition of requirements to provide a comprehensive set of requirements that meet the business customer needs.
- Experience with Requirements, Design, Implementation and/or Architecture
- Experience performing requirements analysis and translating requirements into viable concept design solutions
- Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience maintaining design documents through traceability, updating procedures, analyzing system and program changes.
- Experience preparing technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Must have experience with Agile methodology and full Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience with JIRA
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Enterprise solution design experience
- Software Engineering and User Interface design principle knowledge a bonus
- Experience in release planning and execution
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
