Job Description:Provide desktop support to all front and back-office users in the Americas through phone, email, service tickets. Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, computer hardware and any other authorized peripheral equipment and across a range of authorized software applications. Provide support for corporate mobile devices, including updates, install, configure, test all corporate applications. Perform morning system checks to ensure the systems are up. Participate and implement in global projects. Provide onsite and remote support. Coordinate with vendors to perform preventive maintenance and support on electrical system, aircons, UPSes, VESDA, water leakage detection system. Create functional PC images across all departments that meet corporate standards for including current software, applications, security policies and proper Microsoft updates. Develop and implement software updates and patching scheduling to all desktops within the organization. Create and automate desktop management. Create and maintain group policies. Develop and create software packages for distribution using SCCM and maintain SCCM servers to ensure packages are current.
Minimum Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Networking and Systems Administration, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 2 years of progressively responsible experience in desktop support. Experience must include: Utilizing with Windows desktop technologies, including all relevant software programs, such as VPN software, remote desktop, Active Directory, Azure, Powershell Scripting. Installing and maintaining Server, Voice & Communications Infrastructure, Operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and Apple. Utilizing TCP/IP, DNS and Internetworking Technology knowledge with TCPiputils, and differentiating Network topologies such as P2P, Bus and Mesh.
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $70,366 to $86,000. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
