System/Network Admin

Responsibilities:

1. Virtualization and Server Management:

   • Administer VMware vSphere 6.7 environments.
   • Manage and optimize Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp solutions.
   • Oversee Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.

2. Identity and Access Management:

   • Administer Active Directory, managing user accounts, group policies, and security.
   • Support other Microsoft technologies, including O365, SQL 2012, etc.

3. Desktop Support:

   • Provide Windows 10/11 desktop support to end-users.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop hardware and software issues.

4. Network Administration:

   • Design, implement, and manage advanced LAN / WAN networks.
   • Ensure the high availability of network services and resources.
   • Administer VOIP systems for seamless communication.

5. Security and High Availability:

   • Implement and maintain security best practices across systems and networks.
   • Contribute to the design and implementation of high-availability architecture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a System and Network Administrator.
• Expertise in VMware vSphere, Citrix XenDesktop, XenApp, and Windows Server.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft technologies (O365, SQL 2012), and Windows desktop support.
• Advanced understanding of LAN / WAN networks and VOIP systems.
• Familiarity with high-availability architecture principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Citrix Certified Associate (CCA), or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server.
• Experience with security tools and practices.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies.
