Our client is a nonprofit healthcare system based in Northern Minnesota. Their 2 hospitals, over 40 primary and specialty care clinics and 2 pharmacies serve the people of northeastern Minnesota, northwestern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
The System Director of Pharmacy reports directly to the Health Care System Senior VP Chief Operating Officer and is a collaborative leader comfortable managing within a matrix environment. The ideal candidate possesses experience in providing overall system guidance to the operational activities within the Pharmacy. The System Director Pharmacy will lead this service line in maximizing quality, growth and profitability. This new position will be responsible for ensuring effectiveness, efficiency and fiscal responsibility of the pharmacy areas throughout the Health Care system Based in Springfield, IL
Minimum Requirements:
- Doctorate in Pharmacy is required. Master's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration is preferred.
- 7 years of demonstrated leadership experience in a multi-hospital system is required.
- 5 years of Pharmacy experience required. 1 year of experience in EPIC preferred.
- 1 year of experience in 340b preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations:
- Licensed as Pharmacist, or eligible for licensure as Pharmacist, in state of practice is required.
- Board Certification is preferred.
The position will report to the VP of Support Services and will be responsible for all pharmacies in the health system.
