Swimming Pool Service Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Swimming Pool Maintenance Technician! We are looking for a self-motivated, hard-working employee to work full-time (40 hrs/week). Competitive pay ($18.50+ per hour), with potential for raises upon consistent, reliable performance. No pool or related experience required. All training, equipment, supplies and service truck provided by company. Location: Port Allen, LA.

Potential employees must:

• Have current driver's license and insurance.
• Have reliable transportation to/from work.
• Have a clean criminal and driving record
• Be able to pass a drug test
• Be able to pass a background check
• Must own a smartphone with camera
• Must be able to lift 50 lb. containers throughout the day

Primary Responsibilities:

• Servicing Swimming Pools
• Testing water and dispensing chemicals
• Operating pool equipment
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Track all equipment and supplies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to prioritize and multitask

The physical environment requires the employee to work outside in conditions such as heat/cold, wet/humid.

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

• Commission pay
