North County_ – Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA (Encinitas) - *_Must be available on Saturdays. *Open tryouts at the branch on Wednesdays from 3pm-4pm
North County_ – Rancho Family YMCA (Rancho Penasquitos)_
Central – Copley-Price Family YMCA (City Heights) - Must be available Mon-Fri 9am-3pm or 3pm-8pm and Sunday 8:30am-1pm
Central – Mission Valley YMCA (Mission Valley) - Must be available after 3pm during the week and from 8am-2pm on weekends
Central – Toby Wells Family YMCA (Kearny Mesa)
Central – Jackie Robinson Family YMCA (Southeast SD) - Must be available from 9am-3pm
Coastal_ – Ryan Family YMCA (Pt. Loma) - *_Must be available between the hours of 12pm-8:15pm*
Coastal_ – McKinney Family YMCA (La Jolla) - *_Must be available on weekdays from 3pm-7pm or 8:45am-12pm*
East County_ – Cameron Family YMCA (Santee) - *_Must be available Mon–Thu from 3:30pm–6:20pm and Sat from 9am–12pm*
East County_ – Davis Family YMCA (La Mesa) - *_Must be available Saturdays from 7:45am-12:15pm*
East County_ – McGrath Family YMCA (Rancho San Diego/Spring Valley) - *_Must be available after 3pm on weekdays and weekends*
South County_ – South Bay Family YMCA (Chula Vista) - *_Must be available Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm*

- Follows logical skill progressions
- Recognizes and corrects improper strokes or skills using positive feedback
- Communicates effectively with students in a patient, friendly manner

**“OK, I’m sold!” What do I need to qualify?
- Must be 16 or older
- Current YMCA Swim Lesson or Red Cross SWI Certification
- Must crossover to YMCA certification within 6 months
- Other Current Certifications:
- CPR PRO/AED
- First Aid
- O2
- The Certifications above must be from one of the following certifying organizations:
- American Red Cross
- American Heart Association
- American Safety & Health Institute
- Must pass written and practical skills exam prior to duty
- Candidates must pass each examinations with no more than one failed attempt
- Must have visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents and physical ability to act swiftly in emergency situations
- Must have ability to observe participant activities adequately, to enforce safety regulations and to apply appropriate policies and procedures

Pay: $19.69 - $23.63 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- After school
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
