Sweeper/Scrubber Operator

Pacific Coast Producers (PCP), a growing agricultural cooperative with food production facilities across the West Coast, is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Sweeper/Scrubber Operatorto join our team at our production facility in Lodi, CA. The Lodi production facility uses state-of-the-art equipment to process peaches, apricots, and apples into high-quality finished products. This position is part of a seniority-based collective bargaining unit and requires work on various shifts with potential for a great deal of overtime during the processing season.

Pay Rate: $24.39 per hour. Full time/ 40 hours per week with some weekend and overtime hours required when needed. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness of all warehouse floors using sit down rider type sweeping/scrubbing motor driven machine.
• Empty garbage bins into commercial dumpsters by use of forklift garbage bin dumper.
• Using a man lift and/or ladder to keep warehouse ceilings/walls free of dust and debris.
• Using small power or non-power tools to perform general maintenance in warehouse areas.
• Maintain warehouses in SQF and other regulatory compliance.

Job Requirements:

• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues and internal customers
• Reliable and able to maintain excellent attendance.
• Relevant industrial experience.
• Committed to safety and food safety, including use of appropriate protective equipment.
• Self-motivated and possess strong problem-solving skills.
• Must be a qualified to operate a forklift and be able to do heavy lifting of 50+ pounds.
