Job Summary

**Position would preferably be based out of our Omaha, NE office**

 

Farm Credit Services of America is seeking an SVP of Product Capability Enablement who will provide senior-level vision and strategic product and business leadership for the company's business capability, business solutions, and business process teams. Strategic leadership includes driving initiatives focused on enhancing the capabilities and efficiency of various product lines and divisions while also ensuring strong business support and operationally efficient processes. Develop and maintain highly visible professional presence and coordination with key internal stakeholders across all lines of business to ensure cross-product and cross-business cooperation and execution.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Product Capability, Support and Process Enhancement 

  • Ensure continuous focus on identification of areas where products and platforms can be improved, streamlined, or optimized to increase efficiency, quality, and reliability.  
  • Promote communication and coordination with key stakeholder leaders and technology teams for cross-product enablement and capability enhancement.  
  • Provide oversight of strategic and business initiatives set for the business capability, support, and process teams. Support and champion technology capability evolution to support enhancements. 

Enhance product capabilities to support and enable product management initiatives targeted from business development goals and objectives. 

  • Promote collaboration and product enhancements and information sharing between different product teams, business units and technology teams. 
  • Leverage best practices, utilize data for informed decision making, and drive innovation to create effectiveness and efficiency. 

Utilize industry expertise to create and maintain product capabilities to ensure the needs of the business are being met. 

  • Stay up to date with market trends and industry best practices to ensure that the company remains competitive and adaptable. 
  • Ensure all capability enhancement initiatives adhere to relevant legal and regulatory requirements. 
Leadership/Senior Leadership Duties:
  • Provide team leadership, shared vision, and positive communications to achieve the Company’s vision and strategy consistent with the Company’s core values and team principles.  
  • Build strong relationships and collaborative partnerships within the Company to understand the business opportunities and challenges. 
  • Establish a positive, participative, and collaborative team environment that inspires creative, high-performing, continuous learning, and engaged team members. 
  • Responsible for attracting, selecting, and on-boarding a diverse and qualified team and determining the appropriate team resource requirements. 
  • Develop team members through coaching, training and development, opportunities, and on-going performance feedback including timely follow-up on individual development plans; counsel team members on Talent Management activities. 
  • Responsible for overall business planning and approval of business unit budgets. 
  • Proactively collaborate and communicate with all stakeholders across multiple business units. 
  • Serve as a Senior Leader representing the organization and senior leadership with internal and external. 
Education Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Lending, Agriculture or related field. Graduate degree preferred.  
Years of Experience

 

  • 12+ years related experience in progressively increasing responsibility in product ownership, product management, and/or product enablement within the financial services industry, or credit/lending leadership experience.  Experience working in an agile environment preferred. Previous leadership experience is required.
