Job Description
Valley Community Services Board (VCSB) is seeking a licensed or license-eligible clinician to serve as the Lead Clinician and Program Coordinator at the Shenandoah Valley Juvenile Center (SVJC).

Summary of Essential Duties
- Provides mental health and substance use services to children and adolescents placed at SVJC.
- Works collaboratively with SVJC employees and other service providers as a representative of VCSB.
- Guides, directs, and coaches team members to meet or exceed program objectives.
- Monitors program for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
Minimum Qualifications
In order to be considered for this position, all candidates must possess:
- Master's degree in human services or related field from an accredited program.
- Current status as an LMHP supervisee or resident in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Preferred Qualifications
The most competitive candidates will possess one or more of the following:
- Current LCSW, LPC, or similar credential.
- Previous experience working within the juvenile justice system.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Clinical experience working with children and adolescents diagnosed with severe emotional disturbance (SED) or at-risk for SED.
