Join us and let’s get started.Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a Sustainability Intern in the Oakland, CA, San Francisco, CA or Sacramento, CA office.This position is expected to begin on June 5, 2023The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Research and analysis of climate planning policies, best practices, leading research, funding/financing programs, etc.Draft presentation (PPT) development for internal and external clientsGHG emissions inventory or analysis support, as needed, including data collection, data organizing, or analysis results interpretationStakeholder engagement workshop material development, notetaking, feedback synthesis/summarizingPlan development support, as needed, including drafting content, incorporating internal and external comments, developing figures/charts/graphicsInternships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professionalInterns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of studyIntern 1 – completion of first year of qualified studyQualificationsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in city and regional planning, environmental policy, or related from an accredited universityPreferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Design, or other related field requiredMicrosoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint requiredProficient with ArcGIS, Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, preferredPositive outlook and can-do attitude approach to tasks and teamworkDetail-orientedGood writing, research, analysis, and communication skillsAbility to work independently as well as in multi-disciplinary teamsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Relocation is not available for this position.Sponsorship is not available for this position.Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
