Job description

Sustainability, Climate & Equity - EMIS Manager
Are you passionate about the opportunity to work with clients to improve their environmental impacts on our world? We share your passion. We believe our earth is not a renewable resource and are focused on making real impact which benefit our clients and ultimately support the health of our planet and people.
Deloitte's Sustainability Solutions practice works with clients to set the transformation agenda and provide end-to-end support in helping them define and achieve their path to net zero using a multitude of approaches from clean and renewable energy, enabling compliance by measuring and reporting on operational, physical, and climate risk, modeling climate change and providing leading strategy for data and controls required for clients to measure and report internally and externally in accordance with leading ESG standards and frameworks and evolving regulatory requirements.
The practice is looking for an EMIS Manager to be a part of this incredible team. The work we do is real, with a real impact to the world. Join us!
Deloitte's Perspective on Sustainability
At Deloitte, we believe now is the time for thoughtful, strategic, human-centered action on sustainability and climate fueled by this moment of historic access to technology, capital, and a collective desire for measurable change. We are living through a dramatic shift in the tension between company and societal good - redefining the value exchanged between the business and its employees, customers, suppliers, and communities - with full recognition that new growth comes from managing the interests of what's good for people, planet, and prosperity. Above all else, we value impact, trust, fortitude, and creativity in our efforts to advance this cause. We show up with empathy, tenacity, and wonder as we walk our clients through some of today's toughest sustainability challenges. Our range of Sustainability services uphold these values while helping our cross-sector clients tackle problems related to their sustainability strategy and transformation - charting and achieving paths to net zero and decarbonization, activating equity within and outside of organizations, building and enabling responsible value chains, understanding and managing physical and transition risk, and measuring and sharing sustainability impact.
The work you'll do
In this role as a Manager, you will be a part of a dynamic team within our Sustainability practice. We help our clients digitally transform their Environmental, Health and Safety, Quality and Sustainability operations to ensure they are operationally compliant, productive, safe and sustainable while minimizing the damaging impacts on the environment, people, and society.
As a subject matter expert in Environmental Health and Safety Management Information System (EMIS) solutions, you will be lead client-facing project teams that leverage industry-leading technologies including Enablon. You will use your leadership and functional/technical skills throughout engagements, serving as a key client contact and subject matter expect through the full implementation life cycle to ensure projects are executed to schedule and cost at the highest quality.
  • Working alongside Sustainability leadership to help shape our Enablon practice
  • Participate in sales pursuits and business development opportunities
  • Provide objective, independent advice on off-the-shelf or custom-built, third-party technologies using your knowledge of the market presence of these technologies for our clients
  • Serve as an engagement escalation point for project issues
  • Lead global teams of professionals as a single point of contact within a project
  • Participate in RFP activities

The team
Our team consists of environmentalists, technologists and creatives who have deep understanding in technologies in the market and provide real world advice to our clients to design and implement solutions. Authenticity is celebrated as each team member brings their own brand of storytelling and experience to the group.
As a Manager you will join a dynamic team focused on building data-driven considerations into client sustainability solutions. We catalyze large-scale change addressing the climate crisis, increasing social inclusion, and fostering leading governance practices that embed stakeholder capitalism into organizational operations. Our Sustainability team embodies a culture of purpose and empowers every team member to channel their passions into their work. Deloitte's Sustainability team expands on other organizations' more traditional ESG endeavors by centering our services, investments, and corporate allyship to meet the needs of people, our planet, and a prosperous future.
