Newly opened, professional, innovative, rewarding Sushi Restaurant is seeking a Sushi Prep / Sushi Chef Assistantto join the team!
You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and dedicate time to expanding our clientele base to establish the restaurant's brand and reputation.
Location: Milpitas, CA
Title: Sushi Prep /Sushi Chef Assistant
Type: Full time /Part time, Direct hire
Compensation: $30/hr - $35/hr + Benefit
Duties:
- Prepare and create a variety of sushi dishes according to established recipes and standards. Bring high quality Omakase dining to customers home with a focus on to go.
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sushi preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, including proper storage and handling of food items.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and timely service.
Skills:
- 2~3 years experience of Sushi Chef/Assistant or similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and presentation.
- Basic knife skills and ability to handle raw fish safely.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
