Survey Technician

Jones & Beach Engineers is seeking a full-time Survey Technician / LSIT that will be responsible for completing inside and outside survey assignments.

Jones & Beach Engineers, Inc. is a diversified, New Hampshire based civil/site engineering firm. We provide civil engineering, land surveying, and construction services to industrial, municipal, commercial, healthcare, and residential clients throughout the seacoast region of New Hampshire, northern Massachusetts, and southern Maine. The company is well established, having been in business since 1977. We have a dedicated team of 30+ civil engineers, land surveyors, and administrative support staff.

Job Description

The successful candidate’s office activities may include but will not be limited to title research, boundary computations, review and reduction of field notes, plan preparation and drafting, and calculation of stakeout points for field crews. Field survey activities may include but will not be limited to boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, topographic surveys, and construction layout using robotic total stations, GPS survey equipment, and UAVs.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of survey experience, Surveyor in Training LSI/LSIT certificate preferred, or willingness to pursue licensure. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. FAA Part 107 certification is a plus.

This is a full-time position and qualifies for all our employee benefits. Salary and a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 are dependent on experience.
