As Survey Party Chief you will:

• Understand, operate, and maintain the various types of instruments, measuring devices, and equipment
• Perform limited field and office computations and calculations
• Train crew members
• Cut and clear brush as needed
• Operate instrument, set stakes
• Keep detailed notes and sketches
• Operate level
• Use moderately heavy equipment at times
• Set-up baselines
