Based out of Calgary, LonghornGeomatics is an emerging leader in the land surveying service sector providing services to the Oil and Gas Industry for the past 16 years. Longhorn Geomatics is no poised to offer surveying and mapping services to oil and gas companies in North Dakota. With this in mind, we seek highly motivated, performance driven personnel who are looking to expand their career and take leadership roles. Bringing their oil and gas surveying drafting experience to our ever-diversifying company. You will also have the potential to diversify your own skill set by cross training within our Canadian oil and gas services, as well as within our construction surveying services in Oregon and Washington State.
- CAD Operator/Plan Checker (Oilfield Survey Drafting)
Position Requirements:
- Preferred 5 years’ Oil and Gas drafting/checking experience in Survey industry Experience in drafting/checking various oil and gas survey plans including, but not limited to wellsites, pipelines, as-builts, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD
- Ability to work remotely with minimal or no supervision.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing in North Dakota, but applicants from other locations will be considered.
Responsibilities:
As a member of Longhorn’s team you will:
- Work as a member of Longhorn’s production team to produce Oil and Gas related survey plans, such as well sites, pipelines, as-builts, crossings, profiles, and other industry related drawings.
- On as needed basis participate in other production related tasks, such as job setups, calculations, etc.
- Communicate with project managers and field crews to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
