Survey Crew Chief – Party Chief
Surveying – Land Development – Surveyor- Civil Engineering
Our client in the local area is actively seeking a Survey Crew Chief / Party Chief for a full-time permanent staff position.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Four (4) + years of surveying experience, i.e., engineering field surveying for topographic, boundary, ALTA, construction staking and calculations, preparing grade sheets, field data analysis & mapping, etc.
- Knowledge and ability to interpret plans accurately
- Perform field calculations to determine horizontal and vertical locations for needed data points
- Maintain Baseline standards in survey notes, point descriptions, and calculations
- Prepare clear and concise project task documentation for the entire team’s benefit
- Provide field documentation in anticipation of PLS’s and/or office support’s needs
- Direct and supervise work of subordinate members of surveying parties
- Maintain: survey equipment, vehicles, batteries, and consumables inventory in storage and in vehicle
- Make surveying decisions, document rational for training/back up purposes
- Must have a valid Driver’s license with acceptable driving record
