Farnsworth Group is seeking a Survey Crew Chiefin either or Lisle or Tinley Park, IL office. This position entails performing a wide variety of surveys in various locations. There is up to 50% expected travel. This is not a contract position; we are looking to fill a permanent position where you will have the opportunity to establish and develop a career in Land Surveying.
Job Activities:
- ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys
- Boundary Surveys
- Topographic Surveys
- Construction Layout
- As-Built Pipeline Surveys
- 3D Scanning
- UAV Surveys
Specific Requirements include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of property survey experience, including ALTA and Section Line Surveys
- Experience with Trimble GPS, Total Station and Data Collectors
- Ability to organize field notes
- Ability to read Construction Plans
- Experience performing Boundary Research, preferred
- LSIT, preferred
- Ability to execute field staking
- Strong math skills
- Valid driver’s license
- 50% travel required

- Oil & Gas Pipeline experience
- DOT experience
